Teaming up with our friends in Australia, 'Green Machine' was recorded in Scotland at The Tropicanas Home Studio and then sent to Australia to be Mixed and Mastered by End of the Pier Records.

The result is The Tropicanas most experimental track yet - Scuzzy and driven with sounds similar to those explored in previous release 'Go To Sleep', Green Machine resembles a dark 80s electro pop track, consisting of electrifying guitar riffs, harsh synth beats and distorted vocals.

Lyrically, Andrew has created a character who becomes so consumed by jealousy and envy that they lose sight of themselves; It becomes a cycle that perpetuates itself. This is reinforced thematically through the use of mechanised samples throughout the track.
